CCM on Checking OCSP Event id 5061

Hi,

Just started using Certificate Manager, created password protected .pfx, all good apart from the Audit failures id 5061 in windows 11 event viewer every hour after cert creation and export, when the software is Checking OCSP and when manually opening cert from certificate-advanced-actions-open with password field filled.

Its not a major issue, everything works, just that event log will be filled with audit failures which aren’t really problematic failures.

Settings: Modern PFX Alg, ECDSA 256 private key and csr, password credential added.

Am I using an incorrect setting somewhere?

Is it failing because it doesn’t use password against the private key?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Updated to 7.0.17, no longer get any errors in event log during revocation checks or manual opening from gui.

Thanks for the great app.

Interesting, I haven’t seen that issue reported before but as part of our ARI checks and OCSP the app loads the current PFX asset file to get some information from it, v7 does things differently with different .net 10 APIs and it’s possible that’s related.

We don’t really run 6.x in production anymore as we’ve been “dogfooding” 7.x for the last year or so. In general we expect most users could migrate to 7.x and we will shortly start (gradually) rolling out 7.x as the “release” version.
