I activated the SSL certificate in the application, but the connection on the site is still insecure because… it is not displayed on the timeweb hosting site.
Perhaps because on timeweb it is paid, and the priority of having a certificate issued by timeweb is higher than others.
Does anyone have any thoughts on how to get around this, do you use this hosting a lot?
Not quite sure what you mean but the app doesn’t automatically setup http to https redirection if that’s what you’re looking for.
What is timeweb?
If your existing IIS website bindings include the hostname (e.g. yourdomain.com) and that exactly matches the name on the certificate you have set up then the app will automatically add/update and https binding in IIS for that site with the new certificate. If your site does not have a hostname set in the IIS bindings then it can’t automatically match the certificate to the correct site.
