Certificates not autoupdating

Hi,

I have been using CertifyTheWeb for many years. Today I received an email that the site certificate is not able to renew.

Hi, your request is failing because your outgoing internet connection is going through a local proxy at 127.0.0.1:1080

I’m assuming you didn’t set of a proxy for internet traffic, in which case unfortunately that means there is a real possibility your entire system may be compromised by malware: https://www.google.com/search?q=proxy+127.0.0.1%3A1080

If this is the case, you should look at things that have been installed over the last month or two. I’d recommend moving everything to a new server unless you can (even if you can?) run a tool that identifies the malware.
