Connection denied by Geolocation

Hi all,

Just went to renew the SSL cert for a client and have received the following error. I have searched but not found much at all. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

“Connection denied by Gelocation” is an error your own server/firewall is serving. It’s saying you are blocking requests from certain countries and in this case it’s a country that Let’s Encrypt is checking your domain from.

Let’s Encrypt will check your site from various locations including Singapore etc. This is called “multi-perspective validation”.

Removing Geoblocking (or just block very specific countries) and try your request again.

Google suggests that this particular message comes from something called WatchGuard, which you will have installed on your server or firewall.
