Hello good morning everyone.
I need to download, install and automate a certificate from DigiCert to a web server and I’m having trouble. I need someone to help me with the necessary steps.
In DigiCert I already have an authorized subscription ready to be used, including ACME credentials.
I’m trying to add a new account in Certify Certificate Manager, however DigiCert doesn’t even appear in the list of certification authorities.
Any ideas on how to move forward? Thank you very much
Hi,
Our main documentation is at https://docs.certifytheweb.com/ and we have some details on how to use custom certificate authorities here: Certificate Authorities | Certify The Web Docs
Digicert is not currently a pre-defined CA in the app but assuming you know the ACME directory URL for your service you can add it:
- Under Settings > Certificate Authorities, Edit Certificate Authorities > (New Certificate Authority). You can just set the production API directory URL if there is not test (staging) environment.
Then add a CA account against the new Digicert CA:
- Settings > Certificate Authorities > New Account. On the advanced tab you can set the EAB details assuming they require that for their CA.
Once you have added your CA account you can either set that as the Preferred Certificate Authority, or set it at the managed certificate level under Certificate > Advanced > Certificate Authority (change it from Auto).
Hello webprofusion.
I have already download and install the certificate thanks to your instructions.
Good day.
