Failed to communicate with the Certificate Authority

CTW v5.5.2.0

When I attempt to Register Contact with Let’s Encrypt, I get the following error:

Failed to communicate with the Certificate Authority. Check their status page for service announcements and ensure your system can make outgoing https requests. Also, under Manged Certificates, I can click on the “Test” button and those tests pass.

On that same server where I’m running CTW, I’m able to reach https://letsencrypt.org using a web browser.

This has been fixed. All we had to do is restart the CTW service.

Great, this is very unusual though - occasionally you can get temporary issues with the Let’s Encrypt API itself but I can’t think of anything in the service that would require a restart.
