We are proud to announce that after approximately 4 years of development and an entire year of beta releases, Certify Management Hub has reached general release with v7.1.0. It’s available for Windows, Linux (including container deployments) and macOS.
Alongside the hub we have Certify Certificate Manager v7.1.0 which includes the ability to join the hub and be managed via the hub (web based) interface, removing the need to remote desktop to servers just to monitor or manage certificates. You can update manually by installing the latest version, updates will also gradually be advertised to the in-app update check over time.
You can also setup Certificate Subscriptions to the hub, meaning you can renew a certificate on the hub (usually using DNS validation) and have one or more instance of Certify Certificate Manager receive the updated cert to deploy it locally.
New to the fold is Certify Management Agent which is the headless version of Certify Certificate Manager which runs as a service on Linux (or macOS) and can be used either to renew certificates or just deploy them, it can also understand a few well known 3rd party ACME clients enough to report the status of their renewals back to the hub.
All users are invited to try out the hub by downloading it and evaluating it for as long as you like. Licensing for the hub is included in our Power Pro tier and higher.
In addition our Power Pro tier now covers up to 50 installs (up from 25) and our Enterprise tier now covers up to 250 installs (from from 100). This change has been retrospectively applied to all recently purchased licenses.
As well as the usual continuous improvements and fixes we’re now going to concentrate on getting our docs reorganized to better explain the functionality we have and how to make best use of it. We’ve made a start on that but we know the current structure can be hard to follow!
