Issue using Certify DNS in Certify Certificate Manager

We have purchased a subscription for Certify DNS. We tried to follow the instructions here:

We are having an issue at the step that says:

“You will be prompted to create a CNAME pointing to the TXT record hosted by the Certify DNS service. If you miss this prompt check back in the log file for your managed certificate (see the Status tab).”

We do NOT get prompted anywhere in Certify Certificate Manager about this. Can someone provide a screenshot of how the prompt is supposed to look? Also, if this is a completely new certificate, there is no “Status” tab to go to.

Hi,

Please email support at certifytheweb.com with your log file for this managed certificate and we’ll help you get that setup. I can see from our Certify DNS database that you did manage to begin the process and that a CNAME was allocated in Certify DNS. The support community is best for unlicensed users or those looking to ask general questions to the community.

The status tab should appear on a new managed certificate as soon as it pauses for you to create the CNAME but we have seen occurrences where that doesn’t happen caused by UI threading issues which should be resolved in the upcoming 7.x of the app. In those cases a workaround is reopening the app which would reveal the updated status tab.

I have sent the support email all my logs as I was trying to figure this out. I had 3 different attempts to do this, with the first 2 I had to delete and the 3rd one finally being able to do it, but only when I selected to do it manually instead of strictly using Certify DNS. I didn’t even know how to access the logs until I accidently clicked on the progress bar under the “In Progress” tab, which is where I was able to see what values I needed to add to the TXT record in my DNS. And only doing it manually, I was able to get an email from you guys that tells me what to add in my DNS (which I didn’t see until after the fact).
