Issue with custom CSR

Hello,

I’m trying to request a certificate from a custom ACME provider which requires a custom CSR and key.

The request works okay and I get the certificate but the next request fails as I need to create a new CSR and key every time I request renewal.

Would it be possible to implement a pre-request task to generate the CSR and key with openssl and then load it to the request without manual interaction?

Now I need to manually clear the custom CSR and key and then import new ones.

Even better solution would be the ability to describe the fields of the CSR creation in Certify The Web which would result a new CSR and key from Certify without pre-request tasks.

I found out that the “CustomCSR” and “CustomPrivateKey” lives in manageditems.db but I’m not keen to modify the database outside the program.

Best regards,

Joonas

Hi,

Yes there may be some things we can do but please email support at certifytheweb.com with more details about what you are trying to achieve and the CA etc.

Its quite unusual with ACME for the CSR fields to be important but every CA is different.
