Let's Encrypt vs. BuyPass Go

BuyPass Go certificates are valid for 6 months!

A question for anyone who has used both Let’s Encrypt and BuyPass Go certs:

Is there still a reason for choosing Let’s Encrypt? Are there any issues with BuyPass Go?

BuyPass GO is quite a new (free) product and so it’s less commonly used than Let’s Encrypt. I do use it, more to just test that it all works with Certify. It has a few restrictions like the cert could originally only contain up to 2 hostnames e.g. www.my.domain.com and my.domain.com but that now looks to be up to 5 domains, and they don’t support wildcards (*.domain.com). BuyPass also sell SSL certs so they have an interest in holding back at least some functionality.
