Linux debian 11 apache2 404 [Forbidden :: urn:ietf:params:acme:error:unauthorized]

The test works and i see configcheck file written but i never see the challenge file written while watching the directory.

here’s the log entry:

Hi,

Thanks for testing, which version/variant of the software are you using?

I can see the configcheck file resolves ok, which is a good sign. Could any permissions be blocking the challenge file from being written?
