how to get a personal licence of certificate manager
The normal download defaults to the Community Edition which is intended for evaluation and personal use. If you require support or need more managed certificates than the 5 that the community edition will manage then you would need a Starter Edition license key.
But the application nags you that you are using the trial version every time you open it.
If it is free for personal use - there should be a way to remove this nag when actually using it for personal use.
Hi, no currently there isn’t a way to dismiss that. We may introduce a free community edition license key in the future, and you would apply that to dismiss the notice.
In reality though, the overwhelming majority (90%) of our users are businesses using the community edition, so the nag is there to suggest to those users that they should get a license. We work on this software every day and it can be a battle to get paid for that.
Actually we did add something I’d forgotten about.
If you see a message box that pops up saying You are currently using the Community Edition of this app intended for personal use or evaluation. Are you still evaluating the app?
you can say No then say you’re using it for personal use.
