Opened the app, prompted to update to latest version, which I did. Then went to renew a domain that was only a week away from expiry:
and was presented with a confirmation dialog telling me that it had only recently been renewed and was I sure I wanted to renew again as the CA may not like it…
Automatic renewals are not turned on for this domain. I always do it manually (running on my local dev machine and I don’t normally allow incoming http(s) requests)
How bizarre… my system time is fine. Well, it is this morning - I didn’t notice anything strange yesterday, which I’m sure I would have doing my incremental backups, for example, had it been wrong.
I just renewed another certificate this morning without a hitch.
If you check the Log file for your managed certificate (on the status tab) and look at the event date/times reported you will see what the system date/time was during the process.
If you are using any deployment tasks with scripting look out for anything that uses Data/Time methods as we’ve seen at least one person accidentally changing their system date/time using powershell.
