System time error (bug?)

Whenever I start the CtW app I see a warning message:

“Your system time does not appear to be in synch with an Internet time service, this can result in certificate request errors.”

But my system time is in sync - even if I manually sync it again and restart the app, I still see this warning. I don’t get any errors when requesting certificates.

This can happen if the app is failing to contact the default public network time service ( to verify the current time. It’s just a warning and you can ignore it if your system time is correct, or optionally you could configure an alternative time server by adding an NtpServer setting under Settings. You can also clear the server under Setting to skip the time check.
